It’s that time of year again, back to school. As children return to school they also get back into a daily routine. Making oral hygiene is a big part of this daily routine. This month our hygienist, Sue, gave an oral hygiene presentation at Plantation Park Elementary school.
The lesson included: the roles of the dental team (hygienist, dentist, assistant), the importance of personal protection equipment (PPE): gown, mask, protective eye wear, and gloves, the anatomy of the mouth and the importance of fluoride and good daily oral hygiene to protect teeth, proper brushing, flossing, and mouth rinse techniques, as well as a lesson on proper nutrition. Each child received a Colgate Wave toothbrush.
Pictured below is Sue, Paula Crisanti and the excited children.
Checkout the photos from the “Caring Heart Day” event that Dr. Fatmi and the staff at Regency Court Dentistry participate in last month. The event provided free dental services to clients of JARC.
